EMC’s van sales increase by 40% portraying a thriving business market

EMC Commercial Vehicle Division have announced a 40% year on year increase in van sales when comparing to 2010.

“Our van range has expanded significantly and we have a wide portfolio of products to suit many different requirements. Safety, reliability and image are first class which goes hand-in-hand with the Mercedes-Benz marquee; features such as ABS, airbags, automatic transmission, and advanced safety systems are standard on the majority of Mercedes-Benz van range,” commented Mr. Kamal Rafih, General Manager of EMC.

The flagship model for 2011 was the Viano, with interior improvements including upgraded cockpit controls with four-spoke steering wheel as well as exterior enhancements, gave it an all-new look. The Viano is a leader in its class with the capability of carrying up to 7 passengers in a variety of comfortable seating arrangements making it a perfect choice for both family and corporate customers.

"From hotel shuttles and limousines, to taxis and ambulances, our van range satisfy any business demand. Additionally, the vehicles can be further personalised to cater to operators’ specific needs with options such as 4x4 conversions, mobile workshop installations and disability customization, which have proven to be popular.

“We are excited about 2012 where we aim to further increase our model range with the Vito panel van and Sprinter minibus to complement our product portfolio," added Mr. Daniel Fitzjohn, General Commercial Vehicle Manager, EMC.
