Al Fahim Group has announced the appointment of Christopher Edwards as the General Manager for Emirates Motor Company (EMC) Passenger Cars.
Reporting directly to Frank Bernthaler, CEO of Al Fahim Automotive, he will oversee a team of over 380 employees at EMC, the authorized Mercedes-Benz distributor in Abu Dhabi and the flagship company of Al Fahim Group.
With approximately 30 years’ experience working in international and regional markets within the automotive industry, Mr. Edwards will be responsible for driving sustainable growth, maintaining our leading position in customer satisfaction as well as preparing the company for future mobility solutions, in alignment with Al Fahim Group’s Automotive strategy.
Mr. Edwards is joining EMC with immediate effect after successfully leading automotive distributors in Oman as General Manager for the last six years where he achieved strong sales targets and oversaw the launch of several initiatives including an interactive customer service facility.
